THE LEGEND BEGINS
Every legend starts with a little salt, a little fire, and a man with a dream.
Captain Red Crabbish was a born fisherman from the Louisiana bayou — a man with sun-burnt skin, a beard kissed by the sea, and eyes that had seen more storms than sunsets. Folks called him Red not just for the color of his beard, but for the heat in his heart and the spice in his boil.
For generations, the Crabbish family had been perfecting the art of the seafood feast — crabs, lobsters, shrimp, and spices piled high, cooked slow, and shared loud. But Red was different. He wasn’t content to keep those flavors tied to one shore. He dreamed of a world where everyone could gather around the table, crack shells, laugh loud, and taste the soul of Louisiana.
So with his cheeky sidekick Clutch the Crab, Red built a ship from weathered wood and wild ambition — The Boilin’ Belle. Guided by the stars, the smell of Cajun spice, and a stubborn sense of destiny, he set sail across the Atlantic.
When his boots finally hit the docks of Manchester, he knew he’d found his new home. The sea was colder, the sky greyer, but the people — warm, bold, and ready for something real. And from that moment, the Crabbish name became more than a story — it became a movement.
THE CAPTAIN AND HIS CLAW
Every captain needs a first mate — and for Captain Red, that mate just happened to have claws.
Clutch the Crab isn’t your average crustacean. He’s quick-witted, big-hearted, and always a little too confident for his own shell. With a mouth as snappy as his claws, Clutch is the spark that keeps the Captain on his toes and the crowd smiling.
Together, Red and Clutch bring the fire wherever they go — turning every boil into a celebration. You’ll spot them wherever laughter’s loudest: painted on our walls, dancing across menus, or cracking jokes online. Because behind every great boil, there’s always a little claw work.

Crabbish is the best place to come to if you’ve been thinking of trying seafood out. The staff especially were very lovely. Especially Leyla! She was so patient and very helpful with suggestions on what to go for as it was my first time trying this out. And honestly her recommendation were superb! Thank you Leyla and Crabbish for a wonderful experience. I definitely will be coming back with some friends! ❤️
